My expectations

Dear Mrs.Condrat and dear Group EF21,

Hi!!! How are you? How did this week begin for you? What news? I want to share my further expectations with all of you.

Well,I think that Pip will become a very smart, intelligent and respectable gentleman. He will start a good career in London,he will have a good job. Maybe he will meet someone to fall in love and to marry,in this way he will forget about Estella.

The only thing that I am afraid of is the fact that maybe Pip will become a gentleman who will not care about other's lives, his only care will be money which can change everything, even the man himself, but not feelings and emotions. And also money gives power to be among famous people.

So,I will read this week more,I will find out more interesting facts about Pip and his new life in London.
My dear, have a nice week, have great success in everything you do daily and don't forget to be positive!!!

Love,
Alina

My Realizations

Dear teacher and dear friends,

Hello! How are you? How did your weekend pass? I am sorry I was late, but on Friday I went home and I also was at my friend's wedding,I didn't manage to post anything so I am going to post today.

So,when morning came-Pip felt better, much better and he couldn't wait to go to London. In the moment when Pip told Joe that he would never forget him he was a little bit insincere. Afterwards,Pip went to Mr.Pumblechook's to put on his new clothes. Biddy,Joe and his sister pretended to be happy for him. Pip wanted to go to the carriage by himself and by the way,he was ok till he got in the carriage because then he started to cry, hard. He was too far away....
And this was the end of the first stage of Pip's expectations.

The journey to London lasted about five hours. Pip thought that London was overrated and everything was dirty. The carriage driver led Pip to Mr.Jagger's office where he was greeted by a clerk who told Pip to wait for Mr.Jagger because he was in court. Pip waited in Mr.Jagger's office, seeing many strange things. His chair looked like a coffin. It was a very dreary office which added to Pip like a specific sense of London.
Pip together with Mr. Wemmick,a dry man, short in stature, with a square wooden face and Pip judged him to be a bachelor, went to Barnard's Inn. That place was dirty, crusty and looked to Pip like a flat burying-ground. When they went up to Pip's new apartament they saw that Mr.Pocket,Junior left a message that he would return in short time. When Mr.Pocket,Juniorarrived he brought some strawberries for Pip and suddenly they realized that they knew each other because they fought many years ago in Miss Havisham's garden. What a surprise!!! They began to talk and Mr.Pocket,Junior-Herbert told Pip Miss Havisham's story.

I like that moment very much,Herbert told Pip so many interesting about Miss Havisham life, about her dad, about her half-brother-Arthur,about her wedding to one gentleman, etc. London is so amazing for Pip who didn't see anything else than marshes. Afterwards,Pip and Herbert decided to go to the Pocket house next in Hammersmith where Pip met Herbert's seven brothers and sisters-who were playing on the lawn, his mother,Mrs.Pocket-who was reading a book very intensely and then Mr.Pocket arrived,a disheveled,grey-haired and little bit decentralized(deconcentrat,I am not sure that it is wright).

Well, guys, what about you? Where have you stopped? I will go on reading instantly this week. Good luck to everyone!

Love,
Alina

Monday's Expectations

Dear teacher and dear my friends,

How is life? Do you like the book that we read?

Today is Monday and I want to post something about my expectations. I have read 18 chapters and I can say that I am really sorry for Pip,for his sister, for Biddy, for Joe and in some way for Miss Havisham. I wish some changes.
I can only supposed that maybe in future Pip will marry Biddy and they will live happily. Biddy will teach and educate their children.
Pip will become a gentleman as he is always dreaming about. He doesn't like to be a common person, but as well as nowadays,in the past there were also rich people and common ones. Joe will become a very famous blacksmith, maybe the best and all the people will go to him to make horseshoes. Mrs.Joe will recover gradually and she will be the best woman, sister and perhaps a mother too.

So,I wrote here a true happy end:) I expect that it really will be a happy one. I will go on reading and I will discover everyone's life, deeds and feelings.
Good luck everybody and have succes in everything you do.

Love,
Alina

Youth

Hello everybody!!! How are you? How did your week begin?

You know that last week was Youth Week from the11th to the 17th of November. There was The Student's Day on the 17th of November, too. As well as I am also young and also a student I want to post some things, some pictures about these days:

Youth Week

 The Student's Day

Youth is generally the time of life between childhood and adulthood (maturity). Definitions of the specific age range that constitutes youth vary. An individual's actual maturity may not correspond to their chronological age,as immature individuals can exist at all ages. Youth is also defined as "the appearance, freshness, vigor, spirit, etc.,characteristic of one who is young."

Don't be afraid to be YOUNG and FREE!!!

Because  IT'S GREAT TO BE YOUNG!!!

And also  IT'S FUN TO BE YOUNG!!!

As every person from this great worl

Not only me, WE ALL WANT TO BE YOUNG!!!

And here it is impossible to be only one flower which we can associate with  YOUTH

Flowers of Youth

Dahlia

Fountain of Youth

Maturity and Youth

At the end I want to make a conclusion that Youth is the most wonderful and amazing period from everybody's life through which we volens-nolens have to pass,to live further and to enjoy life!!! So,

That's all I had prepared for you my dear,I hope that you like it:)
Smile! Enjoy Life! Don't Worry-Be Happy! Be positive and positive things will happen to you!

Sunday's Realizations

Dear teacher and friends,

  How are you? What news?
Reading some chapters from the book I can say that I found out that there was Miss Havisham's birthday once where Pip was present, too as her relatives. Her relatives visited her every year on her birthday. That day she told them about where she wished to be laid when she would die. Pip met another boy in Miss Havisham's garden. They fought. There Pip kissed Estella on her cheek. One day Miss Havisham told Pip that she wanted to see Joe too. She gave Joe 25 pounds at their meeting. When Mrs.Joe and Mr.Pumblochook found out that fact they went crazy:)
That vey day Pip was taken to the Court to become a blacksmith's apprentice but Pip always thought about that occurrence adn how much he didn't want to be a blacksmith. Pip felt somehow ashamed of his lifestyle. Pip always thought only about Estella but Estella was in France learning to be a beautiful, educated woman. Ooooo, something terrible happened further. Pip's sister was found in the kitchen, lying unconscious on the ground and she hab been hit hard on the back of her head. She became an invalid, she lost her hearing, she couldn't move or talk without great difficulty. She could express her thoughts on a chalk board. Only Biddy could understand Mrs.Joe really well. Biddy began to live in Gragery's house. On one Sunday she together with Pip walked on the marshes. They were talking about Estella and about Pis's dream to become a gentleman.
Oooo,by the way Joe engaged a man whose name was Orlick. Pip didn't trust him at all. Orlick liked Biddy and flirted with her against her will. One more thing,it seemes that Pip got used to the whole blacksmith thing, even he thought that life is more peaceful withput his sister and he began to imagine himself living with Joe for the rest of his life and eventually marrying Biddy.

Well, that's all I managed to read this week. Definitely,I will go on reading. Dear teacher and fellows, good luck and have a nice week:) Be happy!!!

Yours ever,
Alina

Monday's Expectations

Dear my teacher and my dear fellows,

How are you? How have your week begun?
And now, something about our book and my further expectations. One think that I want to say is that I expect that Pip will fall in love with Estella, but how,in what way(this question always bothers me) if she was always making fun of him for calling "knaves", "jacks" and saying that he had coarse hands and thick boots. She didn't even want to play with him because he was "common". That was the reason for what Pip was complexing very much and I was sorry for him.
I also expect that Miss Havisham's life will change because she suffered very much as she told Pip that she had a broken heart. She was wearing an old,yellowy-brown wedding dress maybe because she was unhappy in marriage or her husband died. And maybe in Mrs.Joe's family and house also will take place some changes.

I will read further and I will see what will happen with every character from our novel.Good Luck to everybody and have fun:)

Sincerely yours,
Alina

My Sunday's realizations

   Dear teacher and fellows,

How are you? I am glad that today is Sunday and we can still rest a little:)

I read some passages more, somewhere 10 chapters entirely and I want to share with my impressions.
Pip's life changed a little bit.Pip spent the night at Mr.Pumblechook's in the attic. Mr.Pumblechook was a seedsman,he sold lots of seedy stuff. He also wore corduroys. In the morning, they went to Miss Havisham's.It was a big, dismal mansion with a lot of bars, gates and boarded up windows. There was a vacant brewery, too. They rang the bell and waited for somebody to unlock the gate.A young girl came to them and didn't let Mr.Pumblechook inside. That house had 2 names : the manor house and Satis House."Satis" meant "enough". Enough House. The little girl told Pip that, when it was first built, the builders thought that whoever owned the house could want nothing more in life. She was Pip’s age,but she was really proud and patronizing. She called Pip - "boy." She was also really pretty. The little girl dropped Pip off and told him to go inside.
There Pip met Miss Havisham,a weirdest lady he had ever seen in his life. She was old and was wearing beatiful clothes, that was a wedding dress and it was so old because it looked yellowy-brown.There were jewels and gloves and lace on her dressing table.Miss Havisham told Pip that she had a broken and then she smiled strangely.Afterwards she commanded Pip to play.He played Estella, but she then didn't want because Pip was "common".She always made fun of him for calling "knaves" or "jacks".She scorned his coarse hands and his thick boots, too. Then Pip went home and Miss Havisham ordered Estella to give him some food. The next day,Pip's sister wanted to know all about Miss Havisham and his house.Mr.Pumblechook came to them and Pip began to tell them some awesome stories.Pip felt really guilty when the two related the story to Joe. He HATES lying to Joe,his best friend.Later on,in the forge,Pip confessed to Joe that the stories of the black coach, the big dogs and the flags were all fabricated.Joe was really shocked and disappointed.Joe told him that he would not ever become uncommon if he continued to tell lies.Pip went to bed thinking about all the differences between Joe’s house and Miss Havisham’s house and how so much had changed that day.Pip got the notion in his head that he needed some schooling in order to become uncommon and Biddy solved the problem, she decided to teach him and all the children in the town. One noght after school,Pip found Joe,Mr.Wopsle and a strange man at the "Three Jolly Bargema" pub.Pip recognized the file that was at that strange man to be very like the same that he had stolen from Joe's smithy and gave to the escaped convict. As they wanted to go home, the mysterious man gave Pip some change wrapped in a piece of paper. Pip was greateful and when they got home and unwrapped the paper, they understood that the paper was actually money itself.Pip ran back to the pub he wasn't there.Mrs.Joe filled a tea pot with the money.Pip had wild dreams all night.

Here I stopped, the chapter 8 was very long and I hardly read it.I will read maybe this coming week more.Have a nice week my dear:)Good luck!!!

Love,
Alina

Monday's expectations

Dear teacher and fellows,

How is life? As today is Monday I wish to post here something and namely my expectations from the book.
I couldn't even imagine that everything will be like this but Charles Dickens had an another "imagination". I expected that Pip's life would be better, his sister would be the closest's his person and she would love him,but I was wrong...
His only friend is Joe and Pip even felt guilty himself because he didn't say anything about his robbery. He was afraid of this,he didn't want that Joe would remai disappointed. And now I think that Pip will meet Estella finally, because I have a feeling that she will be Miss Havishman's daughter whom Pip is supposed to become a playmate to. But I have a doubt in the same time thinking that Estella will be not so good than I expected. Shortly,I will see how the things will be.

Ok,I will read further and I will discover.I wish everybody good luck and mush succes in everything that you do:) And be positive (Don't forget to smile) and positive things will happen to you:)

Love,
Alina

My Sunday's Realizations

Dear teacher and fellows,

How are you? How did your week-end pass? As I have read some chapters from the book,I want to share with my impressions about the actions. Sincerely I expected that Pip's life would become better, but I understood that it wasn't so. And by the way I have never thought at all that Joe had a such hard and unhappy childhood. I was sorry about him while I was reading this. He was supposed to work hard although he was a little boy.
So,something about Pip: After that he had stolen some food for that fearful man he came home. He was afraid that his sister would found out this. But anyway, nobody found this. It was Christmas and there were some guests in his sister's house :Mr. Wopsle(the clerk at church),Mr. Hubble(the wheelwright),Mrs.Hubble and Mr. Pumblechook (Joe’s uncle). All of them had a bad attitude towards Pip and his sister too. She had a bad behaviour and in my opinion, she was a bad sister. Only Joe was his best friend. As they had their Christmas dinner, some soldiers appeared on the Gargery's doorstep. Pip with Joe joined these soldiers to go to find the escapees. They found these convicts and the young one confessed that Pip's convict was intent on killing him. Pip's convict recognized him but he didn't say anything about Pip and their "secret". The two convicts were taken away. Pip felt himself guilty because he didn't say Joe a word about his robbery. Then they both returned home where the guests still were present. Joe retold them all the story. Pip went to school at Mr.Wopsle's great aunt house. There he met Biddy, she was Mr.Wopsle's great aunt's granddaughter. She also was an orphan. One night, when Pip was toghether with Joe,and he was practicing his writing. At that moment Joe said that he never went to school and then explained why. There were some problems in their family. His father was an alcoholic and Joe worked hard. Mrs.Joe was visiting Mr.Pumblechook. When she had come home she said that Miss Havishman wanted that Pip would be as a playmate for her daughter. Pip spent the night at Mr.Pumblechook's and in the morning he would be taken to Miss Havishman. Pip was confused. His sister cleaned him. Pip also was sad because he had never left Joe before.
And here I stopped. I will see soon what will happen futher.

Have a nice week dear teacher and fellows! Have fun:) Enjoy the life:)

Love,
Alina
