    Hi everybody,how are you my dear? Now,I want to put some questions to my partner-Albu Nadejda,using the appropiate verbs from Bloom’s taxonomy.I think that it will not be very hard to answer to my questions dear Nadia))As I understood from the division "Individual Reading(Week 1) we must formulate 6 questions,3 on knowledge level and 3 on comprehesion level.Let's begin:
     Firstly,I will begin with knowlegde level.Dear Nadia:
1)describe in 3 sentences Elizabeth Lavenza's personality;
2)name all the places where Victor together with his family had moved;
3)recognize from the following passage who is represented : "......but I united myself in the bonds of the closest friendship to one among them.__________ was the son of merchant of Geneva.he was a boy of singular talent anf fancy.He loved enterprise,hardship,and even danger for its own sake.he was deeply read in books of chivarly and romance.He composed heroic songs and began to write many a tale of enchantment and knightly adventure............."

   Comprehension level:
1)give an example of another book like "Frankenstein"(I mean also of horror);
2)explain : Why did the Victor's father's friend retreat with his daughter to the town of Lucerne?
3)translate into roumanian the passage : "She joined the hands of Elizabeth and myself. "My children",she said, "my firmest hopes of future happiness were placed on the prospect of your opinion.This expectation will now be the consolation of your father.Elizabeth,my love,you must supply my place to my younger children.Alas!I regret that I am taken from you; and,happy and beloved as I have been,is it not hard to quit you all?But these are not thoughts befitting me; I will endeavour to resign myself cheerfully to death and wiil indulge a hope of meeting you in another world." "
 I hope,Nadia that you will not be upset with me,may be it is too much work here,but I am sure that you will do your best to do it.Good luck!!!!

Reading a few passages from this book, I had found some characters. I would like to write their main traits.         The main character of this book is the narator-Victor Frankenstein.He was by birth a Genevese.He was the eldest child in the family and he was born at Naples.For several years he remained his father and mother's only child and their only care.Victor's temper was to avoid a crowd and to attach himself fervently to a few,he also was indifferent,therefore,to his schoolfellows in general; but,however,he found a friend,who became his closest friend among his schoolfellows.His name was Henry Clerval.Victor's temper was also sometimes violent,and his passions vehement.Victor's lords of imagination were Cornelius Agrippa,Albertus Magnus and Paracelsus whose works he procured,he read and studied the wild fancies of these writers with delight.
     Another character I had found is Victor's father.His father filled several public situations with honour and reputation.He was respected by all who knew him for this integrity and indefatigable attention to public business.His father loved his most intimate friend-Beaufort with the truest friendship.Then,he was taking care of Beaufort's daughter-Caroline Beaufort,but lately they married.There was a considerable differences between the ages of them.His father was fond of  playing with Victor in the hall of their villa.Together with Victor's mother they were fond of the sweet orphans.
   The next character is Victor's mother whose name is Caroline Beaufort.She possesed a mind of an uncommon mould and her courage rose to support her in her adversity when her father died.Together with her father,they lived in misery and despair.The entering in the cottages of the poor was more than a duty,a necessity for her.
   Another character is Elizabeth Lavenza.She became the inmate of Victor's parents house.She was Victor's more than sister,she was the beautiful and adored companion of all his occupations and his pleasures.His parents adopted her because they were fond of her.Everyone loved her.Victor's mother presented Elizabeth to him as her gift.They called each other familiarly by the name of cousin.There was not quite a year difference in their ages.Elizabeth was of a calmer and more concentrated disposition.
  The last character from the passages I've read is Victor's brother. He was his junior by seven years.In the moment when he was born,their parents gave up entirely their wandering life and fixed themselves in their native country.

Firstly , I believe that during of the reading of this book I will get much pleasure ( as our dear theacher once said that the reading is also a way to relax ) . Secondly , I think that in " Frankenstein " I will find some new and interesting words and expressions from the 18th century that I hasn't known till now . Thirdly , I am sure that this book will make me to work much with the dictionaries . Despite of the fact that " Frankenstein " is a novel of horror I think I will enjoy it . And , finally I can say that reading this book , I will improve my vocabulary because I will try to remember and to learn the unknown words from it . I wish everybody good luck and I think that all of us will remain impresed of this novel . Good bye )))
